Stuart Oliver of Castrol Vecton wins inaugural Tata Motors T1 Prima Truck Racing
Six teams for the Championship, participated with a total of 12 PRIMA World Trucks in Tata Motors T1 Prima Truck Racing held at BIC, Greater Noida, on March 23, 2014. The championship featured 12 Tata PRIMA trucks, built for the purpose.
The inaugural championship went to Stuart Oliver of Castrol Vecton team. Born in 1963, Stuart began truck racing in 1998 and only a year later he won his first championship. He went on to win the British Truck Racing Championship a remarkable 10 times and the FIA European Championship in 2004.
Tata Prima 4038.S competed in the T1 PRIMA TRUCK RACING CHAMPIONSHIP 2014, with the massive power of 370 BHP @ 2100 RPM and a top speed of 110 Km/h. To make these Prima trucks fit for racing, 22 key modifications were made to meet a mix of safety and performance needs as per guidelines from British Truck Racing Association.
