Carles Puyol and Gisele Bundchen to Unveil World Cup Trophy
Carles Puyol is set to unveil the trophy alongside Gisele Bundchen ahead of the World Cup Final on Sunday. The winner from 2010 will bring the trophy, housed in it’s Louis Vuitton case, into the Maracana minutes before kickoff.
And Brazilian supermodel Gisele, one of the most famous faces in the world, will be joining him for the privelege.
Louis Vuitton Monogrammed World Cup Trophy Case. It’s a special order case, commissioned by FIFA. The case is covered in the iconic Louis Vuitton monogram and fitted with its signature brass lock and corners. The lining is in dark brown to complement the trophy’s shiny gold surface. It was made in Louis Vuitton‘s workshop in Asnières, France.
The FIFA World Cup Trophy measures 36cm in height, weighs 6.175 kg and is made of solid 18 karat gold with a base of semi-precious malachite.
